Squeal/squeak turning steering wheel

I’m getting a squeal/squeak when turning my steering wheel either way from what sounds like the passenger front wheel. Does anybody know what could possibly be the issue or have any input?

You ball joint on one side needs to be replaced. I just did my driver's side one two months ago it annoyed the sh*t out of me especially in car parks.

Post a Youtube video and I'll 100% confirm it.

You’re 100% right. After some research and watching some videos I figured out it was the ball joint. Man it’s very annoying. Did you have to replace the whole lower control arm or can you replace just the ball joint?

It's the whole arm and there's no way around it. Cost me over $1200 AUD for this rubbish part which is what made me very mad.

The good thing is you don't have to change them both out. Just on a per-side basis.

For now you can use silicon spray to mute the sound for a bit until you get it sorted.
