Tire air pressure - C63S Sedan

Curious on what PSI I should be running on. I have a 63S sedan, 265s up front and 285 in the rear, not OEM obviously. Any insight anybody?

Depends on the tires. When I had Michelins I ran 42/45 (I think that was on the door). With the Conti's I am 2psi per higher as for me, it just feels better.

Got it. What do you mean exactly by “high side”? is recommended air pressure for these tires lower?

I’m running Michelin PS4S. Were you running the same tire sizes? (265/285)

I meant higher tire pressure. Most members run lower tire pressures than I do.
Also running PS4S and they have a softer side wall that's why I run higher pressures and have expensive wheels so less chance of them to get damaged.

DON'T check the driver door pillar..... DO check the gas filler door.

I am running Michelin PS4S 295/30/20 / 265/30/19.... Have them set at 32psi rear, 34psi front.... cold (was about 65deg F when I set them after sitting for more than 24 hours in the garage) After driving it around for a little while in ~70degree weather the pressures will be right around 35-36psi on all 4 corners. The numbers on the gas filler door says that 32-34psi should be good for 1-2 people in the car up to 155mph. I think it rides WAY better than trying to run the 40+psi that the driver's door pillar recommends. However,.... If you plan on driving sustained speeds of 150mph+, or if you put 4 people and luggage in your car and also drive in the triple digit speeds then definitely run the ~45psi that the door recommends.

Great info, thanks brotha! When I drive my car I’m most likely in the 3 digits with 1-2 passengers including myself lol. I’m def gonna give your suggested PSI a shot and see if I notice any difference.
