Extended Warranty Options
I just picked up a 2017 C63s with 40k Miles and I was quoted 3 years or 140k Mile warranty for $10k, $450-$500 a month for 24 months. Does this seem high for C63s and its age? I was looking for something cheaper and was expecting around $6000. Previous owner had warranty but expired and only drove the car on the weekends so he never got an extended warranty so it wasn't worth it for him. I can take the car to a local shop that specializes in ONLY Mercedes and they quoted me $700-$800 for services like Transmission/Differential/Spark Plug services. Just looking for the best way to save money as this will be my daily, Only from and to work (16 Miles round trip) plus errands, etc. Any suggestions or advice are welcomed!

Obviously insurance will not pay for maintaining costs such as tranny fluid. You can shop around for better prices. People seem to like Fidelity and Trenton will chime in. For the price you mention, I would think about putting the 10K in a bond fund and self insuring. You may cone out ahead in a few years. Matter of personal comfort vs economics.
