My steering column height adjustment motor, providing the up and down tilt for the easy entry/exit, is stuck in the full upright position because the motor is busted. Technically, it's not the motor but the gear in it, apparently - due to having the easy entry - exit feature enabled, which finally wore out... My mechanic took a quick look without actually disassembling it to see what's what, but he was unable to see or didn't take note whether the bracket holding it in place has two holes or three before putting it all back together. I believe the part number is A2134607000
I'm told that both of these flavors are interchangeable with the same part number. I'm not sure if that makes sense? Does anyone have any experience with this specific issue? I would appreciate some feedback. I don't want to order both parts as I cannot take them back. Thanks a bunch!
