AMG OLED Steering Wheel Button Change

I have a 2020 C63s with the AMG wheel with the AMG OLED buttons.

The steering wheel has seen better days so going to swap over for a carbon fibre one.

Question is can the original OLED buttons be switched over without issue? I have seen retro kits to fit, but mine is the original kit that I need to move over to a non OLED model.

Thanks

Yes, as far as I know as long as you get the correct SKU for the steering wheel that has the proper bezels and steering control unit. The retrofit kits come with those, so you can replace the bezels etc. in order to mount the units and the steering control unit so they work.

as long as you get a carbon wheel facelift 2019 you’ll have the screw holes for the drive unit. I’d say 99% of the carbon wheels out there use a core that can accept a drive unit so should be safe. All the core we use at least allow adding that option. I circular the holes so you can see where it attaches

Most important thing you need to check is if you have this gap to fit the oled buttons

there are different trims not cores. The trim will have a cutout to allow the mounting of the drive unit

impossible to tell with the trim mounted. All the cores look identical on the outside
