Hard Track/Drift Known Issues?

Has anyone tracked or drifted the W205 C63 regularly? Is the e-diff problematic when drifting?

Are there any known issues with hard track use it drifting? Thanks!

I track ,ine a lot and have never had any issues but for the brakes. I have done some intentional and unintentional drifting and again, no issues. Give it a try.

No issues with the later models. The early ones (2015-2016 and possibly 2017) had issues with the actuator, though. Both the early C63S and GT were affected. The e-diff has matured and been revised over the years. Especially in the FL 2019+ models it's pretty much rock solid. Also, keep in mind, the PFL C63 doesn't have the e-diff, only the S has it. For the FL, both the S and non-S have it, but the FL S has the 9-stage traction control in addition. In those models it doesn't even need the fluid change anymore at 3000 miles. They've improved the friction material such that it's no longer necessary. It is interesting that for the new GT Pro, AMG found it necessary to water cool the diff, along with the 4Matic+ system. Maybe that's more of a testament for the higher losses in a AWD drivetrain. Water cooling the diff didn't seem to be necessary even in the GT BS.
