Hello, I was driving my car on the freeway last night when I noticed a burning smell. I didn’t think it was coming from my car until I got a “Check Engine Oil Add 1 Quart” Light. I instantly took the nearest exit and pulled over to see the whole right side, undercarriage and rear covered in oil and the car still leaking. I didn’t see any smoke or lose any power while driving the car, oil temps didn’t go up, I could still shift gears, and the rpm stayed normal. A few minutes after the light popped up while trying to pull over I did notice a knocking sound. I’m wondering if anyone had a similar experience or has a clue on what it could be? I’m waiting until Monday for my shop to reopen for them to have a look.

Doubt it's anything serious mate. Good work on getting the tow instead of driving, it's most likely the oil cooler at the front. I dare say, your car looks good in that pic (sorry for being off topic).
