OEM AMG Performance forged wheels RXC 5 spoke Coupe C63s

I'm so thrilled with these rims!

They're so focused on performance, and they're OEM rims, it's unbelievable.

Here are the facts :

9J x19 ET25 A2054017400
8,1 kg

10,5J x20 ET57 A2054017500
9,1 kg

( # and kg i asked my MB parts guy - double check by yourself)

Made by APP Tech Italy.
Magnesiumaluminium mix.

Keyword : Unsprung masses ! (check it out)

This company is high class.

Now tell me where you can find something like that on performance cars like “C-Class” etc ?

Nowhere !

Buy a supersportscar or hypercar - you might encounter them again there.

These are the facts that I liked so much about my AMG.
This isn't just brochure fluff about performance - these are real, verifiable facts.

The fact that they offered a 19/20 combination is also incredibly impressive.

So you got genuine OEM wheels directly from the manufacturer, hopefully avoiding the MB markup? If so, where'd you purchase them from? Interested to see if they offer them in different sizes/offsets for a diff MB...

The rim manufacturer of these rims works exclusively with automobile manufacturer.

No other sizes/offsets / only coupe.

Buy used in good condition then you can save money.

I did bump this thread a while ago when searching info about these wheels. I did bought these for my CLS500 Shooting brake. (cls550 in America) They were yellow first but taped those black to suit my car better. Really light and unique wheels and with my custom light weight rotors the unsprung mass reduction is huge.

I dunno if those wheels also came on the CLS 500, but the black with yellow lip wheels are exclusive to the 2017 C63S Coupe Edition One.

I dont know - was thinking only made for C63s.
Never noticed them on other MB.

I dont think you get this wheels ( ~size) lighter as them are. ( with same stability)

i guess next step would be carbon rims.

Yes, these are C63 edition1 wheels for sure and are now in my cls 500.

Price was so good so i have to buy these. Just 1300e with tires. Usually these used wheels are about 4000e in Europe. I have too much wheel now, like three sets. One set is also C63 wheels that are also so great looking. Made by Otto Fusch to AMG.

Very good price ~ yes 4.000 € used ( -/+ 500) in EU.

Not Fusch but Fuchs. fuchsfelge.com

You can see AMG use only the best supplier.

Heh sorry for the typo. My English aint the best.

Here some more details about the second set:
Front: A2054015900 9 x 19 ET25
Rear: A2054016000 10,5 x 19 ET57

And Fuchs response to me: That's right, we manufactured these wheels on behalf of Mercedes-AMG. Since we exclusively manufacture forged wheels, these FUCHSFELGEN are also forged, of course.

The wheel with the OTTO FUCHS marking 38095.011 weighs 11.05 kg and the wheel with the OTTO FUCHS marking 38096.011 weighs 10.78 kg.

So yes they're forged and lightweight. But that also makes them fragile. A bunch of the C63 guys who have these wheels suffered from the wheels bending and even cracking on potholes & uneven road surfaces due to them being so lightweight, while running standard OEM tire pressures. On the C63, recommended tire pressure with these wheels is increased to 44 PSI front and 39 PSI rear (cold).

I'm assuming the CLS 500 is a bit heavier than the C63, so that higher tire pressure will be even more important for ya. Here's the original thread for reference: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...psi-tyres.html

Yes thanks, I have run about 3,1- 3,2bar range.(44-45 PSI) I want to keep these wheels straight. I do run 305/25 in the rear.

Good thinking, I've run the same pressures over the past few years and haven't had damage or buckling since. Agree with the post on how fragile they are.

In Australia our roads are poorly maintained so I'm onto my 3rd set in 10 years now. Also have a spare set in storage as these wheels are undoubtedly the best in looks and performance. Nothing else comes close.

Smoking!! That's a mean spec my friend car looks like a murderer. Did you powder coat them or paint? I wonder what it would look like with the lips still in silver.

What's interesting I just noticed are the lips sort of stand out on yours almost like there's a sheen to them whilst the black is still satin/matte. Makes you look twice

Thank you.

I didnt paint or powder coat the wheels. My friend who is a pro just tape the lips with black tape. All paint is stock and the stock yellow paint is under the tape.

It needed to do something. Car did look like a circus clown with red calibers and yellow wheels lips. Here I test fitted the wheels.

Tape is going in with heat gun

Oem vs tape

All done here
