This is an independent shop right? My car is still under warranty, shouldn't I take it to a dealer for work?

Yeah its an independent... but I don't know if you need to take it to a Mercedes dealership under warranty. For me and my history with dealerships... I got my car back broken more than fixed when going there. And that has been over the coarse of the last 4 years and 3 dealerships. 1 in San Diego and 2 up here in the bay area.

The practices of Nick at PM are spot on. He's the one who owns the shop and he's the one who works on the car. I think he only does 2 cars a day and you have to setup an appointment. He's certified from MB and he has his certifications on the wall in the front waiting room. There's also a lot of them.

So for me in the future with the next Merc I will buy.. this guy is the only one in the bay area who will work on my cars. I hope the warranty doesn't lock us into dealerships because I feel they use us as for unnecessary work. Only to rip off MBUSA and make the dealership more money.

Got my 2012 C350 at R.A.B. They are top notch. Great people and service. From a pricing standpoint, Beshoff Motors in San Jose had comparable pricing.

Yeah for those of you in the Palo Alto/Mountain View area and can recommend a Service Adviser at any of the local MB Dealerships that would be great.
BTW I prepaid for 30k service (10k/20k/30k intervals)

You're correct...Ron Reyes over at Fletcher Jones MB in Fremont was awesome! Next time he said he can have a driver pick up my car from my house and return it once service is done. Nice option....but I'm weird about other people driving my cars hahah
