Any SoCal MB meets?

Hello California!

I am new here and currently a new AMG owner. I wanted to know if their are SoCal MB meets? More specifically 626 area.

Any information would be nice!

There aren't too many MB specific meets. There is one pretty big one each year in the OC and a few others scattered throughout the year. There are however a bunch of Euro meets, but unfortunately mostly BMW's show up to those.

Damn that's unfortunate. Someone should take the initiative and create one for locals. I also wouldn't mind doing a small caravan to cars and coffee.

well there are a few, like the cerritos Euro meet which is the 1st & 3rd Thu. of the month, Capn holds a cruise up near Santa Monica/Malibu every last Sat. of the month. There's a Euro meet in Lake Forest every last Thu. of the Month. There are a few MB's that go to these meets, but its hard to get any real MB turnout...

I head to the Cerritos Euro meets most of the time since its a few blocks from me, we usually get about 6-9 MB's and thats on a good night, lol.

that one in my sig isn't actually a meet. Its a car show called Extreme Autofest. The MBchallenge is the just the Mercedes Portion of the event. Right now we have about 18 cars signed up to show. Here is a link to the show http://www.extremeautofest.com/

There should be a thread to the Cruises that Capn hosts, and yes he is a member on this forum

DYNO MEET/COMPETITION

HERE'S ALL THE INFO:

Alright guys so we've finalized everything for the dyno day so here's to our first dyno day! Gonna be dyno'ing cars, grilling up some food, having a little car show, maybe even a dj...it's gonna be a good time. Don't miss out! Will be $50 for 3 pulls on our 2wd dyno. First 5 people to register will get discounts off their pulls!! Food and drinks will be provided, just come out and have a good time! Anyone is welcome, we love all kinds of performance here!

We will also be doing some dyno competition for those of you who want to show some other guys what's up. If you want to be in the competition it will be another $5 or $10 depending on how many people are in the class, to give the winner a nice cash prize!

Attracts over 350 vehicles, and all cars are welcome.

Bench Racing and Newport Shelby host the "Tour d Orange" every New Years Day which highlights the best scenic tour of Orange County. Now a Southern California tradition for many and arguably the first car event of the New Year. The near 100 miles cruise encompasses Pacific Coast Highway, Canyons Carving and beautiful picturesque valleys.

Meet at the corner of Fisher and Redhill in Costa Mesa as early as 6:00 AM. Arrive by 8:30 AM, maps at 8:45 AM, DEPART AT 9:00 AM. This scenic drive will take approximately 2 hours and terminate at the In N Out Burger at “The District” in Tustin. Thank you all for your good behavior which enables us to continue sponsoring this fun event.

3 SLS's & 2 GT's committed for sure so far plus, a host of other supercars for a cruise. Any other MB's interested?

This will be the cruise route on Sunday the 15th. Leave Sunset beach at 8:45ish. We will take a group picture at Aliso Beach park at 9:45ish and call it a day. One of the Ferrari guys PMed me and he has a pile of supercars coming out.

Check your PMs. We have 3 SoCal events this weekend.

We have been co-hosting Cars and Coffee La Jolla with The Lot on the last Saturday of every month. All makes and models of vehicles are welcome to each event but we choose one brand or region to feature for each event. We have had two Mercedes & AMG themed events so far and I believe we'll have another in a few months. So far, the last Mercedes & AMG event had the best turnout of any that we've had! The AMG SoCal Lounge came out with a truly amazing collection of cars and we hope to see you guys again!

A charity rally from LA to SD this Saturday, November 28th. The rally ending location is 5660 Copley Dr, San Diego, CA 92111 at ~12pm, where we have a private parking lot available. We are accepting item donations of masks, gloves, socks, clothes, and sanitizer at the ending location. Every item donated counts as an entry into our raffle.
