Recommended Indy Shops for Routine Sevice, NorCal South Bay Area

As my MB cars are aging 04’ CLK, 10’E350 , 13’E 350 cpe - models, I like to get some feedback on which Indy shops everyone recommends taking their cars for routine service e.g. oil , brake change, etc in the SANTA Clara/San Jose South Bay Area with best service and fair prices? - Mercedes Service of Mountain View is great but now getting too far for me...

thanks in advance.

Mercedes Service of Silicon Valley (Downtown SJ)
Mercedes Exclusively (Santa Clara/West SJ)

Did a basic A service with Mercedes Exclusively and brake fluid flush, they finished the job in less than an hour and price was about $50 cheaper than the dealer. Good first time experience on a simple service. Turns out my friends take their car here periodically.

Got a recommendation for Star Auto Services in San Jose on 1555 S 10th St, heard they provide really good service and some of the best prices. I’ll be taking my older MB there for some work next to give the shop a try.

Just wanted to report back and hope this helps others, thanks again

Quality Auto Center in Sunnyvale. Great guys...they did my headbolt swap on my E63 as well as many other things. They do awesome work at great prices. If you're looking for someone with STAR/DAS you might need to goto Mercedes Exclusively...they do have long waits for service at times though.

My brother, Jay, was a tech at a MB dealerships in Fremont/San Jose for years and has own his shop now. He is very skilled in diagnostics/repairs and charges a fraction of the dealer rate. You can find info/reviews on him at https://www.yelp.com/biz/goodyear-tire-center-fairfield

Thanks

Custom Alignment in Mountain View, I get all my tires installed here now. They take their time and will not scratch your wheels, also very attention to detail.

Thank you. I need to replace either 3 tires that are flayed - My wife drives the car daily, so no hot-rodding involved. The SA blamed the Bay Area's road conditions that whacked the wheel alignments. Thus far, I had 1 tire replaced at 10K miles and these 3 are bad at 20K miles! They are Run Flat, can the shop handle RFT? I also need to replace the front windshield. Someone vandalized and cracked the windshield - My E300 has the P3 package, meaning the glass installation is not easy due to the forward facing camera behind the rear view mirror and the HUD. SHould I shop around or head straight to the dealer? They quotes me $2200 to replace the glass!

The shop handles high performance cars of all variety, I suggest calling them so you will be ensured of peace of mind and have all your questions answered.

I typically order from Tire Rack and have the tires ship there for install, best pricing that way for tires.

For the cracked windshield, since it will be covered by insurance I’ll take it to the dealer and let your car insurance pay the premium that’s what we pay insurance for. Your deductible is any is negligible to get the good done correctly and with the OEM replacement, make sure to demand OEM no substitutes.
