New here, and to the MB world.

Taking delivery of a 17' GLS550 in the next 2 weeks. It's on the train.

Would like to inquire on discounted rates for extended warranty, if any of you have received them.

Dealer quoted me an extra 2 years/100Km $6190 equalling 6 years/160km.
7years would be $6880. These are the book rates from them.

What kind of discount can I expect?

Also, would there be a slight discount on the PPM?
I have searched the forums, lots of threads for the USA, nothing for Canada.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

wow. $6000 + taxes (I assumed) for just +2 yrs. I would put $ aside and take the chance. If so unfortunate, then there are many qualified MB specailist shops that can do the repair at a bit of more reasonable price.

Well, to keep you abreast of my dealings.

Another Mercedes dealer, that I have no dealings with at all, has quoted me $300 off the warranty and PPM package.

I know not had huge savings but it is a start.
