RyJ House of Capulet - a bit too light for my liking. very weak smoke output in the beginning, picks up a bit after the half way point. flavors are very mellow, nothing too exciting going on here. fairly slow burning stick.

San Cristobal Elegancia - amazing smoke! great smoke texture, nutty flavors and an awesome burn throughout the whole stick. i highly recommend this stick for those of you looking for a more mellow smoke. i would imagine this stick would be amazing with a latte in the morning.

The picture of the tequilla is a bottle that one of my good friends brought back for me from his trip down to Mexico. Never had a tequilla that I could sip on quite like this one. Such an easy and smooth drinking tequilla. @ $30 a bottle, I would def recommend this bottle for first time tequilla drinkers.
I had a San Cristobal Elegancia a few weeks ago... I agree, an AMAZING stick. The one I had was a fatty, a 64 ring-gauge. The standard San Cristobal is still my favorite... it's an Ashton line, and honestly reminds me of another 'budget' Ashton (Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor). Both of them have a nutty, chocolatey flavor to them that is simply hard to lay down.

Greetings fellow brothers of the leaf! Long time, no post, but that doesn't mean I haven't been shmoking! Picked up several, La Flor Dominica's of various blends and have been enjoying them immensely.

Also got a few samplers of Mi Barrio, Camacho Triple-Maduros and Aging Room sticks. All are very good and quite tasty. The local (and only) B&M smoke shop that I know of is hosting an Oliva cigar-tasting event tonight, so I'll report back later with some pics.

Hope you guys are doing well! JR, did you take your physical yet?!?!

Cool Cigars!

I was at our place down on Long Island this weekend. Some Golf, NYC shopping, visiting family and good long night outs. I had the chance to have some great smokes!

I'll be in town for SEMA, not sure on Big Smoke. Would love to go, but I may have to be back home for that weekend. Let's hook up for a smoke during the week!

Smile Cohiba, Padron, Liga Privada, San Lotano

A shot of one of my personal humidors(Bed side left). I am looking to fill it up again soon so I can have them all aged by the spring and summer when I enjoy cigars a lot more.

Sorry but I didn't follow the thread. SEMA was massive and the Big Smoke was okay. My sixth time and it just isn't living up to the earlier years. Great imd with friends and smoked a lot of great cigars.

Heading back to Vegas in December. Always enjoy a mojito at Casa Fuente.

I saw the prices for their sticks at Casa Fuente...no thank you. Makes me wonder how much a mojito is over there. Wish I had the funds to afford a forbidden city from there

In any case, it's been a while since I've been here, hope you've all been well and smoking in good health. Not sure if any of you guys are beer drinkers but I recently picked up some Sam Adama's Utopias cigars from Ted's Cigars. Not expecting a whole lot from these sticks, but it will definitely be an interesting smoke. I'll see how many I have left after donating some to my buddies and if there are any left and you guys are interested in trying one, let me know and I'll gladly send one over.

Recently received a gift from one of my buddies:

AtlanticCigars.com had some FFP's and other hard to get Liga's on their site so I did myself a favor and picked up a couple. I'll show you guys some updated pictures soon.

Yes, they are quite proud of their cigars, but you are not required to buy one to sit down and enjoy a smoke. The Mojitos are $14 but very good. Personally I don't smoke much that doesn't come from an island south of Miami.

Yeah, I remember reading one of your posts a while back. May I kindly ask why? There are some NC's that hold their own against CC's (i.e. Herrera Esteli). Not all CC's are bars above the competition in my humble opinion.

Personal taste. I find most domestic cigars to be dog rockets. There are very few exceptions and they cost more to boot. I've had many cigars that claim to be "cuban" seed but it is quite obvious they're dog rockets. The few domestics I enjoy are Don Carlos, an occasional aged Opus, and Padron Aniversary. Back in the day I also enjoyed Torano, but after CAO took over the cigars went bad.

I see....well I have a Don Carlos 30th Anniversary that I'd like to light up soon. Have you had that particular stick? Thoughts?
