Hey all

Just bought a CL55, 02 (2002) plate with 130k on the clock. The car is MINT with only 1 previous owner - will post some pics soon.

I have a COMAND question. I've searched but I am none the wiser...
I looking to change the headunit. I have the smaller unit with the 2 separate units on the right side. I know I will have to retro fit the unit in - I already have another console which I'm hoping to cut to size and size up to fit a 7 inch Pioneer Android unit.
Will I have to do anything to the optic cable setup /AMP or will the unit just fit straight in?
I've also been looking at a Dension GWL1DB1. Will I need this too?

Is there anyway I can fit a Aux cable to the unit without the Dension unit? I've checked & I don't have one. I do have a CD changer it the boot.
