Traction issues both at launch and at the shift(s), even when it dead hooks at launch, it spins them 10' out. You're definitely looking at it wrong (for the guy who asked if he was looking at it wrong).

removed the "everyone knows everything but runs slower". You're almost a second behind. Hurry up.
And yes wheel spin helps your mph by getting wheel speed up. Go educate yourself. Your mph is weak.
9.6@146. Talk to me when you get close full interior and no nitrous

MBWorld Fanatic!
Let's face it, everyone who drag races regularly knows the same car with the same setup on the same day making multiple passes with all other things being equal will have a lower ET and lower trap speed when it dead hooks, and a higher ET & higher trap speed with wheel spin. To suggest otherwise shows the track dogs you are not an experienced racer.
That being said, I still think Speedriven is a good vendor who makes some good products for our incredibly small market. Kudos to you guys for getting on here and helping keep our forum active, posting about your track times and builds. Without companies like Speedriven, Eurocharged, and others we would all be working harder to go faster as I bet most of us have learned at least a little from Marcin and his crew. I know I sure have and I appreciate the time he has spent with me on the phone.
That being said, if we don't have other individuals pushing the boundaries and questioning posts like blackbenz and racehorse we would all loose out on more valuable info. This is not unique to the Mercedes performance world. Other car or brand specific forums have the same crap going on. Is 131 mph impressive at 800 RWHP, nope, but running a number at the track and on the dyno are two different things. For example, I only made 611 RWHP on the dyno but have seen 128.28 mph with my full weight car. No where near the et or mph of blackbenz but not far behind speedrivens 600. Given the 1/8 mph they hit, the car has some better numbers in it once sorted out. Like Anthony suggested, I think they need to find out why it's falling down on the big end and then I'm sure they can show us some even better #'s. In the mean time, let's all try and help each other and not over react to a little questioning by our fellow racers.
I'm not suggesting we all hug and sing kumbya together, just respect each other and keep in mind none of us have a monopoly on knowledge, but we all have a passion for these awesome cars. Cut each other some slack, don't try to pretend just because someone is wrong about one thing they don't matter to this relatively small group of enthusiasts. Listen to everyone's ideas, and learn what you can from each other. If someone calls BS on you, better double check you facts because there's only been one man in all of history to walk this earth who was NEVER wrong.

Don't waste your time trying to explain yourself. I think Marcin is busy and his secretary doesn't really understand what's going on based on the sarcastic responses to members, instead of a plausible explanation. Is she trying to convince us that they had enough traction to pull off a 107 MPH 1/8th but then suffer from wheel spin afterwards resulting in a low MPH in the 1/4? It doesn't work that way if you are running all out. I must be one of those who "knows everything."

Yes. One of the things that contributed to a loss of power/crappy times on the day. As I wrote somewhere else, we all drove home licking our wounds thinking we would have been at 10.00-10.20. It wasn't until a few days later someone pointed out we had the CL600 record.

Speedriven CL600 1/4 mile Record
Is it normal for members to come in here and crap talk vendors?
I edited my original post just so I don't stir the pot but there are some seriously pompous douche bags on this forum as well as any other car forum for that matter. It's great someone ran a high 9 second quarter mile but really that doesn't mean anything to me or probably anyone else especially since you have a completely different platform. It's irritating to constantly see you in threads crap talking. This is the second v12tt thread I've seen you have diarrhea of the mouth in. Get a girlfriend or a boyfriend so you have less free time to annoy.

Speedriven CL600 V12TT
It's not normal, fastlife. As always, a vocal minority always skews the perspective of a population, or as the saying goes, "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch." It's a good thing that Jo or whoever manages the Speedriven1 profile is always good-humored about our interrogations. I'm certain that this record will be trumped by fresh timeslips soon enough.
What I've always wondered is why Speedriven has historically recommended the 5.5 as a more capable tuning platform. My thoughts on the AMG variant is that it's a heavier stroked M275, but I don't see why that would be a significant downside. What benefits does the 5.5 have over the 6.0?

Out Of Control!!
If you read over the thread some people mentioned that the mph is low for the claimed power. If you are unbiased you would see that's clearly true. Speed driven makes excuses that don't make sense and are called on it. Statements are made that are facts and evidenced by the two timeslips they posted. Slight wheel spin will increase your mph and ET. Some people hate to see their idols be proven wrong and feel the need to jump in and personally attack people when everyone else is talking cars. I don't know how old you people are but some of the posts are childish. Especially by said vendor. If you have to resort to weird songs, images, and name calling when proven wrong about cars then that's your self defense mechanism and I guess it's ok for a vendor to do that on Mbw. Personally reminds me of high school girls but I digress. I support people furthering the platforms and going faster and have helped many do so. But I don't blindly support vendors or anyone for that matter. Show me something good and be honest and I will be supportive. Try to be deceiving and I will call you on it (like a certain SL they claimed didn't have nitrous but actually did). I don't know who their secretary is managing their account on Mbw but maybe hiring a more knowledgeable and professional person to represent your business would be beneficial
