Keyless go push start toggle button

Hey my friends,
I am looking for the part number for the little toggle button that goes under the start/stop button on the shift knob.
If you pull the push start button out you will find this little toggle button on a small thin circuit board that has 2 gold pins coming out of it. Those pins is what goes into the 2 small holes on top of the shifter and makes a connection.
I broke my pins by trying to unscrew my shift knob, not knowing at the time, that doesn't unscrew, I know now how to do it but the damage was done and it sucks not having my push start.
So please if anyone can give me the part number for it I would be so happy so I can order one from the dealer or online and not have to get a new shift knob with the push start.
Thanks as always..

I don't believe it can be ordered separately, only as a unit.

I would think it could because it is a separate piece that is held in place by 2 little snap in clips on each end of the circuit board. Hopefully someone will know definitively so I can order it or have to get a new shift knob.

That doesn't mean it can be ordered separately. Your best bet would be to buy a used knob and take that part from it and install it on yours. It's not terribly likely that someone else broke theirs the same way. There are a lot of things in your car that can be broken down into it's components that those components can not be ordered separately from Mercedes. If it is a standard electrical component, you may be able to order it from an electronics parts store. Given you have an unusual problem, I don't know how much information you will find on your specific issue.

Only way to source the part you need is by buying a new knob assembly.
