A/C issues after hurricane Harvey

the AC seems to only blow hot air out of the top and sides. Center is blowing cold.

My 04 CL600 was outside for the 4 or 5 days of solid rain here in Austin, Tx. Water managed to get into the trunk and drivers rera rocker area. The car was also sitting for a while and the hydraulics bled down on the drivers side. It appears the water pooled on the drivers side causing issues with th navigation unit and Cd changer.

quite a bit of water came out of the drivers rocker panel area just ahead of the rear tire. There was a lot of static and crackling coming through the speakers regardless of radio/command center on or off. I disconnected the battery, and bounced the car around to get the water out. Opened up the doors and truck to expedite the drying. Eventually replaced the battery, removed all the water, and most functions have returned. It took about 10 days to get it dried out.

The command center will power up, but then shuts down saying "Service Unavailable".

Otherwise, the car seems to have not suffered any other permanent problems from the water damage.

Water in control units is always bad. Remove the connectors in the ones that got wet and inspect for corrosion. You can try cleaning, but often if the boards inside have been damaged, replacement is the only option.

generally when you only get cold AC from SOME vents, it indicates a low freon situation
