Sputter, misfiring

My CL 65 is giving me issues when I give it throttle. Feels like I am sputtering. Car starts to shake and seems to be in some form of limp mode although not like limp mode I have felt before with Mercedes. Just down significantly on power. Almost like I am losing some cylinders. Once I cycled the key it is fine again unless I put it back under load again in which case the issue repeats Any idea what could be going on?

A severe enough misfire will shut down one whole bank. Probably needs a coil pack.

yep most likely a failed coil pack , could also be voltage transformer .
v12icpack.com offers a rental Program so you can rent a rebuilt coil or voltage transformer for testing , and if it fixes your issue you can just keep it

I used them last month when my coil pack went out
