Thinking about the adquisición of a CL 500 C216 2007
#2
Well, I have had mine for just on 12 months and besides a window module s**ting itself the rest of the time I have been over the moon with the ride and strangely enough the fuel economy on long trips ( no auto barns in Australia unfortunately).
The only negative I have is that they ( Mercedes) don't do or endorse an updated DVD map and I wanted to do a fix a USB to recharge and play music and this model and many after do not allow that to happen. If you want to play " your" music you have to buy a PDSI which I am looking for myself! Otherwise go for it!

It is unfortunate that Mercedes will not release any further updates to the maps in our vehicles. Final version in the United States was issued last year. I am not aware of any companies that have the ability to generate maps. There is no information available about how the maps are encoded which precludes others from developing updates.
