Is w216 dead?

Is the w216 dead for modding? Trying to find modding parts like carlsson and brabus but they dont seem to make most of their parts for w216 anymore. Best i found is mec design parts but they are expensive. Am i missing something or is the w216 dead?

Keep in mind that the W216, like all previous S class based coupes were produced in very limited quantities. As a result there is an extremely small market for mod parts that only fit the W216. Many 2nd and 3rd owners of these vehicles purchased them after they depreciated significantly in value and most likely are not willing/able to purchase mod parts that could cost almost as much as they pair for their vehicles.

Mods are often purchased by owners with deep pockets who spent in excess of $100K for their vehicle and can easily afford expensive mods.

Short answer, the available of W216 unique mods will continue to diminish.

Power train mods will likely continue to be available since these parts are compatible with other Mercedes models which were produced in much higher quantities.
