Help with Trunk Open & Closing Pump
 

Wondering if anyone has had a trunk pump go bad and if there is any way to fix them. Mine is not automatically opening and closing when you hit the button on the trunk lid. I can hear a relay go off in the bottom right corner of the trunk but nothing after that click. I'm assuming the pump went bad over time or possibly corrosion from moisture. I've inspected the pump and there doesn't seem to be anything visually wrong with it. If there aren't any suggestions I'll probably head to ebay for a new pump. Thanks for any input.

Have the car read with STAR, should have an error stored for it.
