Staggered wheels o.k. on CL550?
I've read and been told yes and no. No, due to transaxle issues. If staggered not an issue, will 19" 8.5's, w/245/45's front and 19" 9.5's, w/275/40's rear work? These are MB factory A2224011402 take off'a from a 2016 S550. Have same 43mm offset as the factory 19/8.5 currently on my car. I've been told it's all about staying w/in a total diameter spec.
Need to move quickly. Please help, if you have a solid answer to staggered and the tire dimensions listed.
Thank you.

Pretty emphatic, so I accept your negative, don't try it reply. I was leaning toward those saying it was okay were simply pushing product. Sticking w/ symmetrical 8.5's.
Thanks a bunch.

Still fighting offset. Pretty much been moved away from staggered.
Have 2012 w/ AMG Sport pkg. No bigger calipers or discs, just 19" wheels. These factory jobs are +43 mm offset. Refurbed are over $800-950 a piece. Am looking at after market. American Racing, Niche', TSW etc., not cheap k.o.'s. Here is the bite.....I am getting all kinds of "advice" on what offset should be and will work, w/o striking/rubbing. Returning after buying is a hassle and costly, so wanna make sure if I buy, they'll plug and play fit.
I want factory stance, square/symmetrical all around. Been waved away from +45. Been getting pushed to +30. Naturally, a set I like is +38 mm offset. These all are 5x112 bolt pattern, 6.56 hub, 19x8.5 wheels
Car is a plain CL550 4Matic, w/ some aesthetic touches. Suspension, brakes etc. are off the line setup. Will +38 mm work, w/o rubs anywhere or do I have to settle for +30 on an alternative set?
Tire Rack says no. Won't sell. Another says it will. Anyone here confirm? Or, direct me to a definitive site? +38mm work? +32mm?
A reliable, confirming answer will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Sorry to be so late in responding, I'm hoping you searched the thread a bit and found this answer. I have run the staggered set up listed in this thread for the last 60k miles with zero issues. Make sure your diameter is identical, and you should be good to go. By exact sizing, offset, and wheels are listed in this thread.
