Trying to figure out how to change the bulbs for the tail lights. From little I gathered this is literally a removing the tail lights process. That is crazy... is there an easier way to change out the bulbs?!
Theres no bulbs for tail driving lights. They are leds. Not changeable. However MB is clever and under some failure it uses automatically rear fog light to have some light on left side. Do you have any error message in dash?
Its eather rear SAM or left tail light assy. I'm not sure if the connectors are suitable but I would check if its possible to test fit rear ligths vice versa and see if the problem follows. Hard to tell from your first post but looks like your rear side marker is working. We dont have that in EU-spec cars. Carly isn't the best diagnostic tool for MB. Only Das-Xentry-Star is.

Yes but car lit up automatic left foflight if theres fail in normal tail light. Thats why there are also bulb and wires in right side fog light.
