The salesman and his dealer may say it's impossible. The're wrong. You can work directly with Daimler Chrysler and/or AMG if necessary.There is a "Center for Automotive Excellence" in Sindelfingen outside of Stuttgart. They do Maybach customization but the Center is not restricted to that brand.
Carpets and headliners can also be customised. But keep in mind that going for a designo interior already adds several grand to the tab ; a truly custom job would be more.

Car stops at AMG Manufaktur for new interior before being shipped to you (or you pick it up in person).
Definately going to add thousand$ to the cost of the vehicle if you go this route....
Are you sure that there isn't a Designo treatment which will work for you? This would be a less expensive option than the above....

I also sent a mail to Brabus, they offer you more than 2000 colors to choose from!!! Damn, that's a lot!
