Oh no ****? Thats so awesome I always watch the guys at my shop doing leather work and I'm so envious! I wish I knew how to do this! Thats great that your able to do it yourself, is there alot involved in the process? You said 2 whole days, so I'm assuming its alot! What do you use exaclty? A sewing machine? What else? I'm so interested to learn about this maybe you could post some more information about the actual process? That'd be awesome! Thanks and great job.

I am trained in interior repair and modification. I usually do repair work to factory specifications, but just recently branched out to do custom interior work as well. It is highly involved and time consuming. I do not sew anything, but recondition your existing leather to be able to take the color change than ensure that the durability is to factory spec. It would take too much time and I would not be able to adequately describe the entire process. Plus, it is easy to mess it up if you do not know what you are doing. Buying all of the required materials would cost more than the actual job, so unless you plan on going into the business, I would not recommend trying to do it yourself, because it just would not be worth it, money-wise.

Thank you Yeah, sorry, just been kind of busy. I'll post some more pictures this weekend when I have a bit more time. Have pics of a 95 S320 that had horrible wear and tear that I refurbished and also a 2001 BMW 530i that I did some work on..... basic wear and tear due to usage.

Usually 2 to 3k for a similar job, but if anyone in SoCal wants it done, PM me and I'll work a deal for you. Unfortunately I am limited to Southern California at the moment

Amazing work

So that is just reconditioned leather and redone in red? i am to understand that brand new matte looking leather is the original leather in there? I think I would pay if you could make my used leather look like that again. Is that possible? From the pictures it looks like the charcoal leather look shiny from use and the red leather looks brand new!

Can you send me clearer pictures of the steering wheel? Maybe some really close ups so i can see the difference in the original leather and the reconditioned red?

Simply amazing! Lucky I am in SoCal, hopefully you can redo my interior in the future.

I can absolutely restore any interior to original condition if you want..... including rips, tears, etc... that's actually what I normally do.... I just wanted to branch out and offer any custom color combination that people might want in their car also. Here was a 95 S320 that had major interior issues. Check out the before and after

If anybody wants reconditioning or custom interior coloring, PM me Located in San Diego and will travel to you. Thanks for all the kudos

Yeah, thats a little far for me... sorry.... but for anyone else near San Diego that isn't able to drop their car off, I can come to your place and do the repairs right in your driveway Also, if you are in or are near San Diego and are interested in doing the color accents and want to see my work firsthand on my vehicle, we could arrange that too Thanks everyone

I did a double take when I saw your pics: I saw a CLS550 with an interior much like yours, although the steering wheel & headrests weren't done I don't believe. Very nice looking in a black car like that.

Thank you very much.... it was either that or the silver.... decided to go with the red, plus now I have red leds for the dome lights, so it looks insane at night.....
