Im pretty sure it was SGC's car, ive seen it more than once and after browsing old posts it looks like I took a vid of his car one night at the track then posted it to youtube which caused controversy a few years back regarding his methanol lines underhood :-| Something bout his alleged use of nitrous. Whatever.
Well ill be fast asleep early tomorrow morning, have fun and safe passes!

Lmao I hate to have been THAT guy to stir the pot, I find out three yrs later... Im curious to know what he drives now, a tuned 65 is the best a man can get. Not many cars will be a step up..only rocket that comes close is a 997 Turbo PDK but thats a lateral move, not a promotion.
The last time I saw his car run it had street tires all around iirc when he did a 10.80. Standing behind his car watching it take off like a UFO was beyond epic. Yours will obviously do good things!
Wednesday night im off, id love to see your CL at PBIR if the rain holds up, tomorrow morning ill be waay too tired to show up.

Nope, I had some issues on my way to the track. I did not connect intercoolers correctly and boost hoses were blowing off. I decided to take the time and do some more testing and highway runs, she seems perfectly fine now. I will either run tomorrow or Wednesday. Really sucks as I wanted to run vs some nice Fords at PBIR.

She was ready for war.... New RS-51 wheels, 19-20 lbs and Monolites w/ hoosiers, cant forget Black series 507 stickers. I swear they give you 20-30 hp.

Damn, the pressure is on. I am trying to talk the wife out of the family night. Honestly I don't expect much from these runs, I am really doing them to ensure she stays together in the 1/4. I have a feeling tranny will not handle the power so since I am dropping motor in a few weeks if it goes at the strip we will have the pleasure of rebuilding it while motor is out.

Nah, This car is high mileage and she has been feeling kind of funny. I don't want to drop motor and then put it back together only to know that when we add another 100 hp it will fall on its legs. That's why I decided to add a few ponies now and do some hard launches and see how she reacts.

Can't catch a break
I finally talk the wife out of the School meeting only to hear Test & Tune has been canceled due to heavy storms tonight. I can't win one!!!!

That sucks, I figured you had a chance at doing both quick school thing and then family night at the track. Ohh well.
Do you have the TCU done or just the tune? If not get the TCU so you can give it a does of the torque it will eventually get. Maybe not all but atlesast beyond the preset limits. How many owner car is it? If its changed hands a bunch of times its a new person with a new group of friends to show off to. Maybe all at once is the easier and less aggravating way to go if the budget and time are both there. Good luck in your quest.
I'm on my way to dinner; mid 60's now in NY perfect V12tt weather.
