Reset ABC warning after replacing defective ABC Pump

Hello there,
I just recently change my ABC pump for 2004 CL500 including flushing the fluids, change all the filters, pressurized the system, car goes up and down normally, steering is also normal except for the (ABC warning on the dash) In white. Can I use the icarsoft i980 to clear this message or do you need to have a star unit to clear message or just removing the ABC fuse? Thanks for any advice.

Is it a constant warning that appears after every time you start the car? I

It's not constant my friend. When I first start the car it's fine. No malfunction on the dash. After i drive the car for about a mile or so, the "ABC ...visitor Workshop" comes on the dash in White. Constantly monitor the fluid level and check for leaks, but everything is ok. Appreciate all the advice. Thanks for any advice.

My thoughts are that there is still a problem. When the the warning appears do you notice a difference in the ride of the car, like more stiff? I would suggest hooking up to STAR to see what's going on. I had a similar issue but it was after replacing a valve block. I cycled the system up/down about 15 times and the warnings went away. I was thinking I may have had air trapped in the system still?

Thanks for the advice friend. I will have to visit my indy mechanic to have the star perform a diagnostic. I was reading some post and if there is air trapped inside the ssytem, It will eventually escape while driving from the little pin hole of the abc dip stick. thoughts my friend? Thanks.

i don't think the memory code will clear unless you use star. this might just be showing a preexisting stored code and needs to be erased via star.

If your getting the white warning there is still a problem throwing a code. Have someone scan it with STAR.
