2011 - cl63 rear differential
Looking to upgrade rear differential as factory one needs replacement . Any recommendations?
For a 2011 Cl 63 Bi- turbo .

If you are looking for a limited slip, check to see if Quaife offers one, since they do for other models. Most companies offering LSDs use the stock rear.
Gear upgrades aren't common and TCU tuning is required. Talk with tuner before purchasing anything.
The only other upgrades would require everything to be made custom one off. Expect to pay big bucks, and tuning may only allow for certain ratios.

I have a 2012. Just curious why yours needs replacement. I have the p30 package which adds lsd. Do you not have that. Just wondering so I know what to look out for and if I'm at risk of damaging mine lol. Thanks

Just an FYI your p30 package doesn't include an LSD on the W216. I have p30 package as well but did know when buying it that it doesn't come with a LSD. I know the E classes and Cls did tho.

I had a Quaife fitted after I had a Re-Map on my 2014 Bi-turbo. 700bhp + 850lbft torque One of the best Mods I've ever had, highly recommended

2012 c300 4matic and New 2018 E400-Coupe
Hello I have a 2012c300 4 matic The rear Dif on the right side is leaking. The car has 57000 miles on it, I called consumers affairs. They said sorry we will help with 15% off the $1100.00 price. I said REALLY I as expecting at least 50% This car is only 5 months out of warranty. Any Ideas on how to get them to do better. I have read that the Rear end is prone to issues, Is this true.

Don't think its not a well thought out business decision by the bean counters at MB. A decent limited slip would only result in more abuse and broken parts that they would have to cover under warranty. These cars are big cruisers, not recognized as agile sports cars, and the majority of owners would never notice the limited slip in action. We are the odd ***** trying to make them all out performance cars. Sadly, none of the German automakers seem to make drivetrain parts beefy enough. These motors are detuned so parts can last. When we get our cars tuned we start to see where these cars push the limits of stock parts. If you keep going with mods then parts start to break, LOL. It becomes expensive maintenance, but its addictive. My problem is now I think custom drivetrain parts are required. In order to continue aggressively and with confidence, I would need a larger rear diff, axles, drive shaft and possibly transmission components. In the end there is always something faster and at the point where I may have to enjoy it for what it is.
