Hey guys, A quick question to anyone who has experience in changing exhausting tips. I am finishing up a wide body '08 CL63. The kit rear diffuser needs 2012+ style tips (square) as shown and will not mount with the oem (round) AMG tips.
My question is this. If I want to get a bit more growl without sacrificing passing CA smog or obnoxious volume, would you guys recommend cutting off the secondary cats and running a straight pipe from the primary to the tips?
Has anyone done this on here with a 6.3? Please try to describe the differences in tone I could expect with the elimination of the cat.
