Alternator change
I need to change the alternator on my CL55 but I can't find any info on how difficult it is. I can see it done on an e55 but its a little different, I've changed my water pump and radiator before would this job be worse then that? Should I try or just pay someone?

Hey Martin I too am trying to change the alternator myself, curious if you found any information?

I just paid someone. I could have done it myself but its an annoying job..

And that’s where I’m at now, going to take it to my mechanic. I started it but the last bolt was such a pain to get a wrench around and still have room to ratchet.. sockets were too big with the side wall in the way also. Thanks for answering back though
