Should He Buy This CL63?

So my buddy is looking at buying this CL63 with 7,000 miles on it. I am not too sure about the specs of the new CL, so I figured I'd consult my experts

These are the mods that this car has:
- 21" HRE 547R
- Brabus Lowering Module
- Deleted Resonators

Personally, I LOVE the wheels on this car but as a DD, 21" is just way too impractical. What are you thoughts on this? A lot of the roads here in LA are minefields for potholes.

Also, do any of you know about any issues with Brabus Lowering Modules? I suggested that my buddy take it off and bring the car over to a guy I know who will do the STAR Diag. lowering mod instead. Sounds safer, no?

Thanks for your help everybody.

(sorry for the blurry pic)

very nice looking ride.. If the price is right, i would tell him to jump on it.. I dont think 21s would be a problem as many cl's have 22s on them.

i have not seen decent 08s with less than 10k for under 90k... even wholesale...

car looks good (from 10000 feet) and there is nothing wrong with the brabus lowering... wheels also look good...

i would say that anything under 95k would be a good buy.

Looks nice, I'd personally go back to the stock AMG wheels considering the 21's might become a nuisance after awhile. Also watch out for those deleted resonators, might create a sound some do not prefer. Other than that looks like a great machine.

Personal sale (purchased from the original owner by some small car rental/reseller place in BH). Quote is 98k but the salesman told us these are $10,000 rims

I told him if thats the case he can keep the wheels and give us the car for 88k

My buddy is pretty likely to jump on it. He'll probably walk out the door paying somewhere around 95.

Exactly, haha. Try to bargain down to 88K w/o the wheels. Even 90 would be a steal.

If not, the car looks great as it is. I don't really like silver cars, but the wheels and lowering module make this one an exception.

Check with a microscope for any collision damage. All other stuff is covered by the warranty.

Peace of mind-- run the VIN at the Dealer to make sure is not flagged as to any owner's mods that may invalid the factory warranty.
