If I had to do it again I wouldn't do the tune on original coil packs. It was fine romping around on original coil packs but I got coil misfires on the day I got the tune.

A bit off topic.......but my misfires were fixed via a software update.

I believe we are experiencing the same problem with my old mans W221 S65 - Renntech R3 package. After accelerating pretty spiritedly, the car will go into limp mode and 1/2 the motor will shut off (No CEL though). The dealer blamed it on the Renntech inter-cooler pump saying it was "insufficient".

Ordered/installed the updated renntech pump but apparently it was a 'bad-pump' out of the box. Got the third pump on thursday (Over-nighted by Renntech), installed and on the road by friday, back into limp mode 46 miles after picking it up.
Going back into the dealer Monday, will let you all know what we find.
