---> If you are just doing a Fluid level check/correction
1) Park car on a LEVEL surface
2) Start engine.
3) Press the ABC button until 2 red lights are on, and car is in the utmost raised position.
4) Lower it so both lights are out.
5) repeat steps 3 and 4 again.
6) Switch off engine.
7) Wait 5 minutes before proceeding for levels to stabilize.
8) CLEAN outside area around the and cap and dipstick.
9) Remove dipstick and wipe with lint free cloth.
10) Put the dipstick back into the fluid expansion reservoir.
11) Remove the dipstick and read the fluid level by looking at the side of the dipstick that says "ENGINE OFF UNLADEN"
*FLUID MUSH BE BETWEEN MIN AND MAX.
12) If needed, correct the fluid level.

In these steps it says to unload the car.. I'm assuming it means to remove any persons and luggage that could add weight. It would be quite impractical to have to unload the weight from off of the wheels by raising the car on a lift.
Can anyone confirm?

I once filled up to the top mark and had a huge clean up when the ABC system pressurized, engine got turned off and the excess fluid was sprayed out the tiny vent hole located in the rear of the rubber dip stick top.
Since then, I've always run the level about a 1/4" lower than full unladen.
