nice going...........i was considering the muffle delete on my CL65 a while back but never got round to doing it - would really like to hear them sound clips

Why didn't you go with electronic cut outs instead of cutting off the entire muffler? That way you could have kept the muffler and tips in tacked and could have had the same results with a switch of a button along with keeping the car quite if you wanted to on long drives. I did this on my cl63 and its great.

Not sure about the OP but it is just a subtle growl at a cruise, no drone at all so if I had cutouts they would never get closed. The turbo's and catalytic converters quiet it down plenty.

I totally agree on a N/A engine, however, it's not really needed with the turbos making it super quiet until boost kicks in. If I were to place the cutouts say right after the cats, then it would be a noise worth being able to shut off with the flip of a switch
