ESP inoperative.....

After about a weeks' visit to the body shop for a front lip install, now have ESP inop warning and keyless go is inop. They told me something that caught my interest, and that is that they kept the key on the roof for several days at night to make sure they don't get locked in the car. Wonder if the car has been awake for several days? Has anyone had the ESP warning or keyless go failure, and linked it to a weak or flat battery. 08 CL 63, and I think the battery is original. This car only has one battery in 08, correct?
Tried clearing the ESP code, but won't go away, and car still does not seem to recognize key even with new batteries.
Thanks for any help/insight....

Now I see cruise is inop (makes me think wheel sensor), but in addition to keyless go, drive dynamic seats have stopped, and I can't tell what else....This has got to be a battery issue, right? Look sliks it has been almost three years since rear battery was replaced, but in dash info, consistently showing 14 ish volts....
Is there such a thing as a master reboot for these cars? Thanks again...

OK, so a key....

fixed the Keyless Go problem. But the ESP issue remains. You can clear every single thing, but as soon as you start it--no driving--it's back on. No cruise or dynamic seats either. I would think it might be a SAS, but it tracks perfectly and rides well. Resetting the SAS does nothing.
CGW issue? Anything would help, thanks....

The brake light switch on the pedal is the most common culprit for the ESP issue. I have not done it but have read its an easy and inexpensive fix.

ESP light should go away after a couple of drive cycles

And now, it is intermittent.....

I can occasionally reset the SAS and it will go away. Then it will come back. Good and honest indy with lots of experience and Star scanned it, says it was fine, then drove off and back on. Tech says that SAS won't reset. Might as well get it over with?

Try this trick , turn on ur car with the push to start button and drive for like 5 min then stop and turn off the car with the push to start button and do not open ur door the esp light now shut off then start the car again and drive , that's how I got my esp light went away

Thanks guys.....

but none of that does the trick. The brake light switch is common on 210 and 208, but never seen a bad one on a 216 or 221. And any combination of start sequence, reset, etc, only fixes it for a minute. Think I might as well get it over with on the SAS.
