A few track passes

I finally took time to transfer some video from my camera to my computer and made a short Youtube video. I have a lot more passes, and some great kills, but this is just a sample of my 10.7x runs.

I wish my dragstrip had that view! Solid runs though, very impressive! Glad to see it hooking up. What were the temperatures like and was the strip prepped? I feel bad for that white paint too with all the burnouts. Do you bother waxing it off or do you do any prep to keep it from sticking?

The first run on the video was un-prepped and on 90 octane fuel, hence the much slower ET. Just liked the announcer commentary. Temps were different as those were on more than one day, but I believe the fastest runs were in the 60's. I still can't launch it as hard as I would like without blowing the tires off, but I am hoping to have that solved for 2016. Looking for a 10.6x next year.

Yes we do have some incredible views!

Fricking awesome video and launches! Good luck for next year to get into the 10.6s!

Track is absolutely stunning in comparison to mine too, which is just an old airfield. Loved the commentators note "even the smoke smells expensive" lol

Thanks. The commentary on the first pass is why I included that one even though it is my slowest ever full pass. Have a few others with some funny commentary from the spectators, but the funniest one has too much language I didn't want to put on YouTube.

Language warning.

What a nice video showing how consistent your car is. Also you do an impressive job of cutting a light. I think I need a new set drag radials and to get back to the track this up coming year. Very fast passes, I look forward to seeing you make it quicker.

Thanks. It's not always that consistent, that was just a sample of passes. the pic below is my timeslips from all passes in the CL. Top row are all 10.7x, second row are 10.8's, third row 10.9's, etc. Bottom row are all 11.2 and slower. Some are aborted runs, times when the trans didn't shift right, times when it misfired and dropped 6 cylinders, forgot to turn off traction control, no track prep days, 90 octane fuel only days, Had to stop because the other car blew up and threw parts in my lane, etc.... Not all runs are pretty, LOL.

Your worst nightmare...
Incredible views. Wonder what's it like living in Alaska. Air must be pure up there.

I can't imagine it's too pure at the dragstrip.

Overall really good air. We do get natural air contaminants (dust, pollen, smoke if there are wild fires, occasional volcanic ash...). However, OTHER than at the track we have great air.

Gotcha. Either way, love places with incredible views and mountains. Reminds me a lot of Utah.

Car looks great and quite sure you will get her where she needs to be.
