The week of June 6th. They said 6-8 weeks. That's why I pre-paid enough to get the turbos and LSD made so they will have them for when the car arrives.

A month and a half to two months. We should see your results by no later than the beginning of September. Hope your car performs well. I have yet to see any results as high as what you are saying. Wish you the best of luck on the performance and timeline.

Multiple cars making 820-860 WHP. Dyno sheets all over the internet. Fastest 600 SL, CL overall. Only V12 in the 9s. You keep telling yourself you haven't seen any results, kiddo.

Here is a lightly modified CL65 running very similar times. For an 800+ RWHP CL it doesn't run much quicker/faster than a 600+ RWHP CL.

Absolutely love the car and project, very excited to see the mods getting done!
Kudos to you for buying such a nice CL65 and commiting the $ and time for all those upgrades. I did it back in 2006 with my CLS55 - Renntech performance package, lowering module, 3pc custom wheels, spoiler, Euro comand with DVDinMotion, radar, rear seat entertainment for my kids, etc - I absolutely loved that car and kept it nearly 8 years. It was designo Graphite too, a great color that looks wonderful in all light, hides microscratches and looks clean even when filthy.

Well I got to run her tonight to get some baseline numbers. I am actually a bit shocked. Track prep wasnt that good (or so everyone there was complaining about) but I managed a 12.36 @ 114 with the ESP on. I thought these were only 12.6 cars stock? I only got two more runs in with the ESP off and did a 12.50 @ 117 and a 12.55 @ 119 but was spinning past the 220 mark. lol

I have no idea what you are on about? Car is stock. Car is 5080lbs.

It's missing about 80-100whp if a 5k car traps 131.
That's a ~ 750whp 5klb car trap. Not exactly rocket science to figure that out.

I still have no idea what you are talking about. Where is this 131 trap speed you speak of? I said 114, 117 and 119. So whos car are you talking about?

http://speedriven.wpengine.com/2015/...4-mile-record/ please, let me know what feature you'd like to complain about with this car. LOL!

You should have quoted him then initially. We have moved past that part of the conversation.
But since you like to stir the pot, what does a stock CL65 make at the wheels? One of my trap speeds was 119 and I am completely stock.

Stirring the pot because I ask questions when freely offered data doesn't jive with widely accepted other data? Sorry you see it that way, but for the sake of my curiosity and possibly gaining some knowledge that I can transfer to another platform I currently run, I'll ask anyway.
There very well may be a completely reasonable explanation, but it won't be heard unless someone asks.
But to answer your question, 5klb car trapping 119 mph ... 645 crank hp, -~17% if you want to figure whp.

Like Mike said, your 604HP CL is trapping like a 645 HP car. That doesn't suck. Good job. Look forward to your future times after Speedriven gets their hands on your baby.

Nice job with your car, too bad you didn't have a set of drag radials to know what it can do all out with traction. Either way its nice to see times for a W216. Its typical to see slightly higher traps with slower times due to wheel spin. Regardless, its a starting point to compare to at a later date, and you will really need drag radials then.

Mike 450 was referring to Speedriven's claim of 800+ RWHP car that only traps at 131 MPH. There is some missing power somewhere to the tune of 200 or so RWHP by his calculations.

820 claimed RWHP on E85 CL600 that trapped 131 MPH at Byron. Weighed at 4595 lbs. w/o driver.

And why Racehorses CL65 traps 130 MPH with 645 RWHP with stock turbos? Hmmh...Is it the driver mod or because of drag radials?

That said, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that there might be more to that run than is immediately obvious, and I know it wouldn't be the first time someone downplayed their car's power before a money race, either. Maybe one of our clients will find some time to line up against him someday? That would be pretty kicka**.
