I spoke to someone there on Monday, think it was Dave, and he was awaiting a part that should have been there Tuesday so the could complete tuning. I really dont know where its at now. This whole experience has been annoying and makes me wish I just left the car stock.

Actually Eurocharged has been much better at getting back with me. Jerry, David and Phillip have been pretty good at keeping me informed with whats what. The issue is the shop is going through large changes right now and expanding so some things are getting a tad delayed. Jerry has been very good at letting me know what is what and I just got off the phone with him to resolve some issues.
Seems the car is gonna want race fuel for the high power so we are setting up the boost control to run at 93 pump and also 109 race fuel. They also were unaware of the killer chiller system so are no going to do some loaded dyno runs with the cooler running to see if that cures the rest of the gremlins. They did have to change issues to make the car perform properly plus fix it from blowing off the turbo pressure pipes. With any luck the car will be done and back next week. Just have to run two kinds of fuel in it.

No, running a new electronic controller. Going to have one setting for pump and another for race. I am ordering a 54 gallon barrel of 109 right now. Dont feet like spending over 2000 to convert to E85 on the car.

I wonder if is knock limited or inablilty to access the tables to run back the timing...
sorry for the questioms, my intent is not to frustrate. Im just trying to determine what im going to do with my 65.

Yours is a W220 right? Tuning it "should" be no problem. From what I've seen on this and other sites the 216 & 221's are a different story than the 215/220's computers.

although, apples to oranges, I'm just trying to gauge where the tuning "really" is for these cars....

Well the car is pretty much done. The pump gas tune is complete and the car is dead nuts consistant run after run after run. They will finish up the "kill" tune for the race gas tomorrow and after I pick up the car on Thursday I will let its numbers out and break down who did what and how it was resolved. It now seems the computers have been figured out and future owners will be able to get the most they can out of their W216 platforms.

That's great news. Can't wait to hear how it performs on the track. I can't imagine the time spent at Eurocharged will be cheap though. Hopefully Speedriven will reimburse you for the additional cost.

Allright, car is pretty much done and home now. Jerry, David and Marcin have really worked hard o get this tuning thing down for it. I do feel Marcin will make it right and refund me on the tune but he did have a hand in helping Jerry at Eurocharged get it ironed out. I am not going to release dyno numbers as of yet as on pump they are a tad low and on race they are not that bad. I will say after I got the car home I made some minor changes to the boost control and fixed the multiple broken charge pipe couplers and the car has become quite the animal. I have taken a few friends for a ride and scared the crap out of them. They had no idea a car that size could move like that. I have used a wideband after fixing the leaking boost pipes and making minor changes on the boost control and AFR is spot on. So the car will hit the dyno Saturday that I use for all my Domestic builds and I will have some solid numbers. My guess is going to be 770/890 which while isnt very high the turbos more than make up for their ability to spool instantly. I have never seen a turbo spool so quickly.
Speedriven has done a great build and Marcin with Jerry and David have done wonders to make this computer work. It required very little for me to get it to work better and I will share the info with them to help future customers. I do believe Marcin will step up and cover the retune cost as he is a good guy to work with and really dose nice fab work. i cant wit to see what the dyno reveals.

If it was my car, I would put it on your independent dyno again and watch closely what boost you are having now over the whole RPM range.
With the "Speedriven Tune" you had 622whp on Pump with only 12 PSI when I remember correctly, and now with the new tune on Pump it is nearly the same output? Hmm, seems they still had some difficulties with the tune at higher boost levels on Pump. But soon you will know more.
I hope the best for you with the outcome! Good Luck.
How are you switching between Pump and race gas tune, are you uploading via OBD2-Port or directly into the ECU?

It is running 18 with race fuel bu I know the engine can handle 14.5psi on pump so thats hwat I changed it to and verified with a wideband that the engine is happy.

Well for those that want to know the W216 CL65 can hold a 305/35/20 drag radial without rubbing and with no effect on the ESP. Car dead hooks now! Yay!
I will get better pics after my detailer gets here today.

Man, I know it sucks waiting and spending and waiting and spending, but once you get on the other side..........well, what a machine. And how lucky the car is to have an owner that is competent and is willing to take it as far as it can go. I remain envious.
Even begun thinking about all those audio jewels yet?

Car does make 18psi on race tune and 13 on pump. Verified at my dyno shop. Problem is we couldn't confirm the 720/844 numbers from Eurocharged as his dyno stopped reading after 160mph for some reason.

The Mustang Dyno I had my car on only goes to 160, so we had to dyno my car in third on the M.D. I told the operator this but he didn't believe it would go over 160 in fourth. Anyway, try running it in third, I believe that is what Eurocharged does because that is what they had me do even when I was on a dynojet.
