anybody looking for exhaust, intake, or cooling mods?

I have a CL55 AMG, and a buddy of mine has a S65 AMG. He's been a top notch mechanic for several years, and I do some pretty mean fab work, so we've been throwing around the idea of collaborating our skills and expanding business. We certainly intend on going beyond simple fabrication, and our work speaks for itself. I figured I'd put it out there and see if there's any interest in here for good quality pieces. Pricing would come in somewhere between the big names and the mass produced products out there, but everything would be made in house, not sourced out to China. If I get enough interest, I have absolutely no problem fabricating a setup, taking tons of pictures along the way, comparing dyno numbers, and 1/4 mi results. Feel free to private message me, or comment. Thanks in advance.

Turbo upgrade for the V12 would be nice.

we were talking about exactly that, and it would be in the form of an all new set of tubular headers, and turbos placed somewhere that allows for good sized intakes. Would certainly be time consuming, but more than worth the effort when you size everything properly, and you end up with a much more efficient setup that makes more power on less than factory boost. I'm even entertaining building a turbo setup on my '55' over the winter.

You might want to reach out to redbbulljnky on the E55 forum. He was the only one who I'm aware of that got a bi-turbo system working successfully on a 55k engine.

building a turbo setup that works is not the problem, trusting someone that claims to be a tuner is the issue.

Yes, tuning is the issue and not fabrication. It's not about trust but the ability to get the ECU to work with the modifications.

If a tuner can actually tune or of these cars on a blower, they can tune them with turbos. I'll tell you right now that there isn't many people out there that can. It's sad really

How about a nice "bolt on" fresh air intake setup for the TTv12?

I'm finishing up a cooling system on my CL55, and inlet tubes on an s65 are probably the next project. Will post pics when we get there!

Crazy, I just watched one of his videos earlier today for the first time and I had no idea it was Twin turbo! That thing is quick.
