ABC Malfunction Light!
2009 CL-63 AMG (W216):
The ABC Malfunction light comes on after every start and lights up once. I press the okay button on the steering wheel controls and it goes away until the car is started again. Do I check the fluid in the actuator while the car is running to see if the level is low? Do I run my iSoft scanner to check for codes?
Please advise.
Thanks.

Is the code you are seeing being shown in white or red? My car will sometimes show an ABC system message when I start it up and it raises to a higher setting. Then it goes away. If the light is in Red then that is warning there is a problem. I would check the ABC fluid level first. There are 2 markings on the dipstick. One is for when the car is running (the lower marking) and one is for when the car is off (the higher marking). If you do need fluid, be sure to use the correct fluid. Also, if it's low you need to see where it's leaking from. Good luck.

The reading in the instrutment cluster was yellow, but it came on red while pumping air in the front two tires this morning. "Stop Vehicle." So I drove it 1/2 mile home and parked it. I pressed OK, and it disappeared.
