W216 Brake Service Question - Clunking sound
Hello,
I just changed my 2011 CL65 front brake pads and rotors (RB 2pc Rotor and Porterfield R4-S Pads). The rotors were not drilled properly for a set screw so I just didn't install the set screw.
The brakes feel fine. But with the windows rolled down I can hear a faint clunking noise when going over bumpy roads and the covers over each floating caliper seem to be able to move around a little bit, so I think this might be it.
Wondering if anyone can see on their car if the covers move around when pushed a little bit or if anyone knows if the lack of a set screw can cause this slight clunking sound over bumps.
Is there a proper way to make sure these covers don't move around?
