03 CL55 quality of ride
So only my third time driving the car this morning as I took delivery Sat, but I am trying ascertain what level of ride quality I'm expecting vs reality. After purchasing the car in Seattle (Bellevue) I drove the 180 miles to Portland in horrific rainy conditions and although it stayed planted and as solid as a rock, I did feel some vibration. I put it down to the conditions at the time, road surface et, or maybe just being the nature of the beast with firm suspension. However on shorter rides (like this morning) I'm still feeling something coming up thru the seat. The car is mint with a service history and only 36k miles. The car had new tires in oct of 2017 and was only driven 500 miles since then as it was part of a private collection of 60+ cars owned by the owner of several Seattle area dealerships, inc Bellevue Jaguar which is where it was being sold thru. I am starting to wonder if there are flat spots in the tires due to storage. Any insight would be much appreciated. I started a thread in the Regional forum area for someone I can compare notes with here in Portland. We'll see if I get any takers.
Cheers

I would say its the tires. Ask the dealer how long the car has been sitting. Flat spots can work themselves out with daily driving. I have an old mustang that sits for long periods of time and it has this issue. You can see if they go away after driving it for 1 week or 2, or take it to a tire shop and check them for balance.
