2003 CL55 won’t start
 

The car sat for about ten days, I don’t drive all the time.

i got in and tried to start with the keyless go. It seemed to like half try but then not and then said “chip card not recognized”

i went in and got the key. Everything does what it supposed to do up until the car starting. There’s now a large power drain, the dome light will actually dim. Then a thump from the engine compartment, not clocking just a sigular loud thump. Then nothing happens.

Its dark ark so I haven’t even tried to figure it out but can anyone point me in the right direction for tomorrow?

So, my DIC says move selecter lever to P, so I’m guessing that’s got a lot to do with it

Awesome! We are all human. I once had a new stereo that wouldn’t turn on. I called the manufacturer’s help desk and the operator asked me in very polite English with a very heavy Indian accent whether the stereo was plugged in. I became enraged that they would ask such a condescending question until the truth manifested itself. :smash:
