I am sure my car will sound different than the one in the video....My car is renntech tuned and the car sounds much more aggressive than stock.

Hey guys, I was suppose to receive my exhaust today but instead I received an email stating that the exhaust is on back order and wont be available for another three weeks. I will keep you updated if it ever comes lol

They tried to pull the whole "aftermarket parts are in high demand" lol, most benz owners keep their cars pretty stock. I think that is the great thing about this car, you don't have to do too much to it. They should have just said "we only made a few systems to start" MY BAD

At this point I also want to cancel my exhaust..but there will prob be a thousand dollar restocking fee even though it doesnt actually exist

I'd just wait it out man. Honestly, no matter who you order from at this point, there will be a higher than expected wait until they build up the inventory. Always a struggle with first model year and aftermarket parts availability.

Its not the wait time that pisses me off its all the "will be ready in two weeks" and its been two months or "We are 100 percent positive it shipped" and the **** isn't even built yet or "you will have it on tuesday it's in stock" and the products are on back order. That is just plain unacceptable and it is bad business. Get your stuff together.

Trust me I feel your pain. I experienced the exact same thing a few years back. Ordered a set of wheels for my G37 coupe, first time this design was ever released and was told the wheel was in stock and ready to ship. Wait time was 2 months since it shipped from Japan. It took just under 7 months to get the wheels. I went through empty promises after empty promises, followed by no communication after asking for a refund, to emails assuring me the product was in transit and could no longer be refunded unless I shipped them back at my own cost once they arrive.

Sorry guys but I will be canceling my exhaust order due to another crappy vendor. I don't think I am spending anymore money on this car till next year. I am sorry I couldnt give you guys a review.

I know. This is the second order I had to cancel. When I originally ordered the IPE over a month and a half ago I was under the impression that it was shipping the day I paid for it. First delay it was out of stock so it would be a couple weeks. It was suppose to ship on Friday but I received an email yesterday stating that the valves had a manufacturing defect and it wont be ready for another month. After hearing that I decided to get my 4 grand back. I dont know why these companies have all this false advertising. THey make videos and post threads about parts for sale but they dont actually exist??? These are suppose to be "top of the line" exhaust parts....especially paying 4 grand for a 4 cyl turbo exhaust is pretty crazy in itself.

IPE and Armytrix lost credibility big time in my mind. I understand production delays but there seems to be recurring pattern here.

In the Euro car world, there are only 3 aftermarket exhaust brands I trust:
-Akrapovic
-GTHaus
-Eisenmann
Seeing what has been going on here just reinforces that. If I'm giong to drop 2-4 grand on a system, it'll only be on one of those brands unless there are significant positive reviews for something else. IPE and Armytrix lost credibility big time in my mind. I understand production delays but there seems to be recurring pattern here.

UPDATE
My vendor expressed his dissatisfaction with the service from IPE. IPE offered to put my order first in production and 2 day air it to my house for free. So hopefully I will have the system by the 14th at the latest.
