What's up brotha, I put my car away for the winter so I haven't been able to test out the tune. I think I have made more payments on it than times I have driven it lol I was just in NYC today, this weather blows.

Ya man I am a sales rep for a sports nutrition company and my territory is half the east coast so I do a ton of driving. My benz would get destroyed if I used it as my work car.

The Renntech tune is pretty solid but I still feel the need for more mods: larger turbo, down pipe, exhaust, and intake should cover it. =)

At the rest tuners keep pushing the limits, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw 500hp by this summer. Curious to see how the various tune hold up over time.

I wanna see what Renntech does for a stage 2. Not having the car yet does make it easier to be patient but I feel your struggle.

Renntech says stage 2 will be an air box as the OEM down pipe is not all that restrictive.

Did you get the Renntech tune? If so, how do you like it? Renntech also said they were working on an exhaust from the DP back. Since this car is set up with the turbo in front, turbo swaps shouldn't be too hard.

To be honest…I haven't checked the level. Im making the assumption that it was pre-set at 3. When I get back from my trip I'll confirm.

I am running on 3 as well. Was reading A45 forums from UK.. Renntech stated if the gas quality is bad, running at higher setting might cause the ECU to retard timing to a point the performance might be same or worst than stock. It will be best to run each setting with OBD tools to monitor timing retard to get the best setting. Since Canada have very bad fuel, setting 3 should be the highest I could run.

Mine was pre-set at 5, I assume yours is set at 5 too. BTW I work in Jersey every other week.
