Rebellion Automotive A45 AMG runs 12.07@115 mph 1/4 mile
As most of you know we have been constantly developing for the m133 platform now since Aug13. The benefit of actually having had a car from day one has been invaluable for R and D and testing both road and track...
Our Tune is now in its second version and is only available direct through us here at Rebellion.
Anyway we had a chance to get a car to the track today and although the weather was typically British (see photo) the A45 AMG put down an awesome performance, running 12.07@115 and 12.09@116

Power gains are +50bhp and +90nm anyone that knows us will know we always quote a conservative figure.
We have had customers run 3.8secs to 60mph and 8.8 secs to 100mph. It also ran a 12.07 sec at 115mph (1/4 mile) on a wet drag strip so give a you an idea of speed.
Cost wise we are working on pricing as we speak but we are hopeful of a sub $1000 introductory offer.
Cheers Matt

I have been watching the video on you tube of the A45 stage 2 racing a 997 GTS (400BHP) and a 996 Turbo S (450BHP) and I am not really convinced it has really 450BHP, but should be around 420.
It makes sense it being faster than the GTS wich has an aspirated engine and not a huge continuos torque, but when the 996 turbo S comes the A45 with same power should win or stay there. The 996 has a crap 5 gear tiptronic without lunch control and between 1st and 2ng gear it is horribly slow. In fact the a45 jumps ahead initially but then when the 996 has the opportunity to push with all its power it just disappears. I guess in real life the stage 1 is around 405 BHP and stage 2 probably 20 more BHP.
What do you guys think?
