$1720 each. That's highway robbery, even for RENNTECH.

RENNtechHQ 06-17-2014 08:57 AM

These are a full forged light weight wheel designed by RENNtech and made by ADV1. If you look at the high end forged wheel market you will see our price is not highway robbery. If you wanted something more for looks and not worried about things like weight then a cast wheel would be a better choice at a lower price point.

I have a set of 19x8.5 Rays G25 for my CLA45 that cost me less than $3000 new. And yes they are forged and very light too.

Rays makes a nice wheel and sounds like you got a great price on them.

Whats the point of arguing? They're selling forged ADV1 wheels...which we all know cost big money. Is the cost justified? Maybe...maybe not...depends if you have the cash to burn.

RENNtechHQ 06-17-2014 11:30 AM

This a great point. There are lots of wheel companies and all at different price points and different quality. We chose ADV1 to manufacture our wheel design because we feel they make a product that meets our standards and quality of what we and our customers expect of a RENNtech product. We know these wheels are not for everyone but we want to let people know that we have them.

I already commented on Facebook, but it's very nice. Glad to see someone increased the tire width.

Mike, I was really happy with the Renntech suspension on my W203. Do you guys have something in the works for the CLA45?

Any pics? I was thinking of doing the same, but 18x8.5

Thanks.

Yeah... Me too.... I'm feeling real bad.

The ADV wheels are doing just fine handling the streets of Brooklyn... Don't let the internet hype screw you up... If you like the look..step up and pay the piper or spend those dollars on a chip just so you can wait for that Turbo Porsche to smoke.....(like once every 7 months).... Boring!

Nobody has wheels that look as good. Period.

soolman32 06-17-2014 10:16 PM

I like the look and the price isn't that bad compared to what some other forged wheels cost. Any info on weight?
