2016 CLA45 AMG Navigation Maps - Australia
Hi All,
Looked around the forums but I haven't been able to find answers for my car.
I have an Australian 2016 CLA45 AMG and I am wondering if I need to take the car to Mercedes for Map updates? I assume one would need Navigation software and Navigation Maps?
Ideally, I would like to be able to do the updates on my own. Can this be done? I do have 2017 maps (checked that under the map version) but I am wondering if there are newer maps available?
Mercedes told me they won't do updates on the maps without taking the car in for a service. Thought that was a bit rich of them.
Can the computer software (not sure of the technical term for it - COMAND maybe?) be updated also?
I am a new Mercedes owner. I love the car, however it seems we are a little restricted as to what we can do on our own?
