Clear coat stains
PSA: Keep your paint clean.
I know MB doesn't recommend using automatic car washes so with the exception of two times not long after I picked the car up, I've only done hand washes either at the dealership or a commercial place I like. Because it's rained almost every day for the past two weeks I hadn't washed the car and it was beginning to look a little ****ty ... literally there was a little bird crap on the trunk lid. I finally got it washed yesterday, got home and noticed where the bird **** had been the clear coat was stained. A little bit of light compound and some elbow grease got it out, but I thought it was something to be aware of. This paint and clear coat are pretty delicate. Time for PPF.
