BMW just introduced the 320i to compete with the CLA, but it'll be priced at roughly 33k.

I think that job primarily will go to the upcoming BMW 1 Series sedan. 3s and Cs are most closely positioned, even if BMW puts an even smaller engine in their larger 3.

Yeah! they get them so cheap!!. I'll keep my 15K miles CLK for now but I could be interested in a warm CLA in silver, dark ash wood & two tone grey leather interior. DCT & all the trimmings including intelligent Distronic.

I'm keeping my eye on the 4 Grand Coupe for a swoopy sedan about the size of a C, but with a far better powertrain than the C250 and with a stick in the US!

The strategy seems to be that the 2 will be the coupe for the new 1 Series, unless they do a swoopy sedan version of the 1 for a 128 Gran Coupe? That would be a spot-on CLA fighter.

That's b/c we can't order "all the trimmings!" We don't get as many options as are available in other countries (esp in terms of interior trim). Still, I'm not complaining.

BTW, didn't they already introduce the 4-series?

Well apparantly with the CLA you don't need the dealer for free car washes as Kate Upton will come to your house and make you want to wash your car as she does sexy poses. Frankly, love my Audi much more than any MB I've owned and the MB dealer washes it for me because I bought it there.

The new CLA reminds me so much of a baby CLS and though the interior may not appeal to everyone I love it !! Granted I still gotta sit and feel the materials to see how the quality is but for the styling and price this just may be a nice next car for me
